Sudahkah saya paham bahwa saya dapat memiliki kehadiran Kristus bersama saya ?

Bahwa Kristus akan menampakkan diri-Nya kepada mereka, namun tidak terlihat oleh dunia, merupakan misteri bagi para murid. Mereka tidak dapat memahami kata-kata Kristus dalam arti spiritual mereka. Mereka memikirkan manifestasi lahiriah yang terlihat. Mereka tidak dapat menerima kenyataan bahwa mereka dapat memiliki kehadiran Kristus bersama mereka, sementara Dia tidak terlihat oleh dunia. Mereka tidak mengerti arti dari manifestasi spiritual. {SW 13 September 1898, par. 2}

Bagi mereka yang percaya, Kristus itu berharga. Roh-Nya bergerak pada pikiran dan hati orang percaya sangat sesuai dengan apa yang tertulis di dalam Firman. Roh dan Firman setuju dgn sempurna. Demikianlah Roh itu bersaksi bersama roh kita bahwa kita lahir dari Allah.28 {HP 144.5}

That Christ should manifest Himself to them, and yet be invisible to the world, was a mystery to the disciples. They could not understand the words of Christ in their spiritual sense. They were thinking of the outward, visible manifestation. They could not take in the fact that they could have the presence of Christ with them, and yet He be unseen by the world. They did not understand the meaning of a spiritual manifestation. {SW September 13, 1898, par. 2}

To them that believe, Christ is precious. His Spirit moving upon the mind and heart of the believer is in perfect agreement with that which is written in the Word. The Spirit and the Word agree perfectly. Thus the Spirit beareth witness with our spirit that we are born of God.28 {HP 144.5}
